First take/on I-5

Yeah, well. Yesterday I wrote about those timing signs along I-5 in Washington and Oregon, which sound great – telling you how many minutes to certain key spots, letting you know if there’s a traffic jam-up. In theory. In practice, the signs worked most of the time but not always. And in driving to and from the Puget Sound, I-5 was jammed repeatedly (mainly in the evening) in areas – like the Centralia/Chehalis area – that aren’t served by the signs. The I-5 run was a mess in that regard. System still has a few bugs in it. – rs
